Few people understand the importance of money and how it can be used as a tool to live richly, not wealthily. IBR aims to put all the information in one, easy-to-access, free-forever place.
Some people are lucky enough that making money isn't the problem. But too often these people are caught in a consumerist trap: every dollar they make they spend. Lifestyle creep is real - but it isn't a mandate.
IBR is about learning the role money plays in your happiness, finding out how much is enough and gathering real-world data from mini retirements to increase the chances of a happy and successful "forever retirement."
Itty bitty retirement, AKA IBR (rhymes with "fiber") AKA "iterative retirement," teaches you how to take mini retirements to validate your assumptions about your "forever retirement" and use the data, feedback and experiences to course-correct and improve your plan.
Author, Marketer
Born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii, I'm the youngest of four in a humble family. First in my family with a college degree (Linguistics from the University of Washington) and one of few with a white-collar job making good money. I was effectively financially illiterate until I met William and he helped me build a strong understanding of money and eventually finances and wealth building. Now I want to share that with others who aren't fortunate enough to marry someone who helped me gain confidence in money matters.
I also write books: speculative fiction, fantasy and even sci-fi set in Hawaii or in a time-space inspired by Hawaii. My two Hawaiian historical romance novellas, Salt and Turmeric, are available on Amazon.
Agile transformation consultant, Life/spiritual coach
William is a native of the Pacific Northwest, born in Southern Oregon. His background is in civil engineering, but he left that to start his own company Grayhill Solutions, offering agile software development solutions. He now consults for large global companies on how to use agile approaches at the program and executive level.
In his personal time, William reads... a lot. He is also intensely fascinated in the makings of a spiritually rich conscious experience of life. He is knowledgeable of the teachings of mindfulness, Christianity, Christian mysticism and the Vedantic Upanishads, which he tries to bring into everyday life through nature walks and a meditative practice.
